Time to take your employees and yourself to new heights? Then this one-day overhead crane training course is the perfect match for your company!

We will teach you in a clear and informative way to confidently use the overhead crane safely and efficiently with the help of our experienced instructors. During this day both the theoretical and practical aspects will be touched upon.

This training is only available on location for client groups.

Purpose of Training:

Operating an overhead crane falls under the high-risk tasks, the machine involves potential hazards. The training aims at dealing with this consciously, whether from the cabin, using a control spear, or by radio control.

People are encouraged to work safely and efficiently in their daily use of the overhead crane.

During this one-day course you will receive a refresher on key regulations , the usefulness of the machine and re-evaluate practical skills through intensive practice.

Training content:

A refresher of the most important theory topics:

• Regulations & safety regulations.
• The structure and operation of an overhead crane in the construction industry
• Working safely within the workplace
• Cargo handling procedures and recommendations
• The correct docking of loads and safe lifting practices

During the practical part, specific attention is given to:

• Operating the machine correctly
• Daily inspection procedures
• Handling of loads using the machine
• Use of safe lifting system for loads
• Tilting of loads using the overhead crane

Practicalities of Training:

• Minimum 18 years old - Always bring your ID!
• You must be medically fit to attend this training.
• Bring safety shoes.
• Training of 1 day, including exam.
• Lunch & water is included at Tsaar Academy.
• You can take this training only non-BeSaCC. 
• After passing, you will obtain a Tsaar certificate, valid for five years. This can always be accessed on our online certificate portal.
• The company must provide its own equipment with valid inspection certificate.

Location:

This training is only available on the customers' company premises.
