IS005 - 1 daagse Cherry Picker: 1-day course

Working as an Aerial Working Platform operator? Do you want to refresh your operating skills?

Do you want to improve the skills of your employees? 

Then this one day cherry picker training course is ideal for you (or your employees). During this day both the theory and practical part will be repeated.

Purpose of Training: 

Operating an cherry picker falls under the high-risk tasks, the machine presents potential hazards. The training aims to make people aware of these hazards.

People are encouraged to be thoughtful in their daily use of the cherry picker. Working safely and efficiently is paramount. 

In one day you get a refresher on the most important regulations, the usefulness of the machine and practical skills are re-evaluated.

Training content:

A refresher on key theory topics: 

• Regulations & safety requirements.
• The construction of the machine
• Technical terms
• Risks when using the AWP on and off the job. 
• Inspection and tests
• Prevention tips 
• Fall protection

During the practical part, attention is also given to: 

• Start control and defect detection.
• Operating skills.
• Emergency fall operation
• Periodic inspections
• Emergency escape routes.
• Working at high altitudes.

Practicalities of Training:

• Minimum 18 years old - Always bring your ID!
• You must be medically fit to attend this training.
• Bring safety shoes. 
• Training of one day, including exam.
• Lunch & water is included at Tsaar Academy.
• You can take this training either BeSaCC or non-BeSaCC.
• If you pass you will receive a Tsaar certificate or a BeSaCC certificate depending on the training requested.
