DATA PROCESSING POLICY OF TSAR ACADEMY TRAINING
At TSAAR, we take your rights regarding data processing seriously. In our privacy policy, which you can access below in PDF format, we explain how we collect, process and use your personal data. SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Upon registration, a 100% deposit on the invoice is required, to be paid before the start of the course. The legally required entry documents should be submitted no later than the first day of training. An incomplete registration dossier will result in exclusion from the training course. The training will be invoiced in full.
Billing conditions imposed by the Underwriter
If the customer works with performance records with approval, any comments on these performance records should be disclosed to TSAAR within 2 days of receipt by the customer. In the absence of comments within the stipulated period, the performance statements shall be deemed to be finally accepted by the customer and TSAAR shall invoice accordingly. If the customer requires special order numbers on the invoices (such as PO numbers), these must be communicated to TSAAR at least 15 days prior to invoicing. Failing this, invoices will be prepared by TSAAR without these entries and the lack of these entries cannot be invoked by the customer to suspend payments or extend the agreed payment period. If the customer imposes its own payment platform which is not the standard TSAAR payment platform, any cost for TSAAR's input into that system will be borne by the customer.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Article I. Subscriptions
Any request for subscription must be made in writing to TSAAR ACADEMY BV (by letter or e-mail). Registrations will be accepted to the extent that places are still available. Enrolment is only complete after receipt of the fully completed enrolment form issued by TSAAR ACADEMY BV, containing the following information: name of the participant, name and date of the course, name and address of the employer or institution to whom the invoice can be made out. After receiving the registration form, TSAAR ACADEMY BV will send a confirmation letter to the participant or, if applicable, to the institution that has enrolled one or more participants. The confirmation letter will also state where the training course will take place and the date and time on which it starts.
Article II. Cancellation by the participant
If the participant decides to cancel the training course, he/she must notify TSAAR ACADEMY BV in writing. In case of cancellation more than 4 weeks before the start of the training course, no fee will be charged. For cancellations between 2 and 4 weeks before the start of the training, 50% of the training costs will be charged. For cancellations within 2 weeks before the start of the training or in case of absence during the training, the full amount will be charged.
Article III. Cancellation by TSAAR ACADEMY BV
TSAAR ACADEMY BV reserves the right to cancel or postpone a training course if there are insufficient registrations, the instructor is ill or in case of force majeure. In case of cancellation by TSAAR ACADEMY BV, the full amount will be refunded to the participant or the institution that registered one or more participants. TSAAR ACADEMY BV is not liable for any costs incurred by the participant or the institution in connection with the cancelled course.
Article IV. Payment
Payment of the training fee must be made by bank transfer to the account number stated on the invoice. Payment should be made within 30 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise stated on the invoice. Delay interest will be charged at 1% per month in case of late payment. Moreover, in the event of late payment, a fixed compensation of 10% of the amount due will be charged, with a minimum of €50.
Article V. Intellectual property
The teaching materials and presentations used during the training are the property of TSAAR ACADEMY BV and/or the instructor. It is not permitted to reproduce or publish these materials without the express permission of TSAAR ACADEMY BV and/or the instructor.
Article VI. Liability
TSAAR ACADEMY BV is not liable for any damage suffered by the participant or the institution as a result of participation in the course, unless the damage is the result of wilful intent or gross negligence of TSAAR ACADEMY BV.
Article VII. Applicable law and competent court
This agreement is governed by Belgian law. In case of disputes, the court of the judicial district in which TSAAR ACADEMY BV is located shall have jurisdiction.
These are the general and special conditions applicable to the organised training courses of TSAAR ACADEMY BV. By registering for a training course, the participant declares to agree with these conditions.
It is important to note that the training will take place on the date and time stated in the training programme. If there are any changes in the programme, TSAAR ACADEMY BV will inform participants in good time.
TSAAR ACADEMY BV is committed to ensuring that the training courses are of high quality and reserves the right to change the course programme and lecturers if necessary. Participants will be informed of this in good time.
If the participant wishes to register for a course, he/she must complete and sign the registration form in full. By signing the registration form, the participant agrees to the general and special conditions and enters into an agreement with TSAAR ACADEMY BV.
Finally, the participant should be aware that TSAAR ACADEMY BV processes participants' personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation. The participant has the right to view, amend or have his/her personal data removed.
